Conrad D Bryk

Newport, NH: Conrad D. Bryk, 72, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017 at New London Hospital after a brief period of declining health.  He was born on March 18, 1945 in New Haven, CT to the late Frank J. and Helen C. (Simonu) Bryk. 

Conrad worked as an LNA for Connecticut Valley Home Healthcare and at Sturm-Ruger for 18 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Family camping trips to Island Pond were one of his favorite things to do.  Conrad was enjoying his retirement with his family and volunteering his time running errands and doing some shopping for his elderly friends on Summer St.  He will be greatly missed. 

Conrad was predeceased by his parents and by a sister, Jacqueline Bryk.

Surviving family members include his wife of 47 years, Janice Bryk of Newport, NH, son, Jeff Bryk and his wife, Carolyn of Auburn, NH, daughter, Lisa Perry and her husband, Gregg of Manchester, NH, brother, Richard Bryk, sisters, Deborah Crofut and Elaine Rzasa, and grandchildren, Marissa and Hunter Perry and Abigail Bryk.

Per Conrad's wishes, there will be no services.

Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
