Cathy, Linda and Sue,
I am so sorry for your loss. The video was absolutely beautiful. Your parents were both very amazing people. I miss them both deeply. I am so sorry I cannot be there with you but please know I am thinking of you all during this difficult time. Love to you all.

To my greatest friend and buddy all during our growing up years in Newport.
"Fair Winds, Smooth Sails, and Calm Seas on your journey to the Lords Kingdom", Don. You will always be in my memories but now you will be joining your wife, Midge, mom and dad, and brother, Larry.
God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes your family watched you,
and saw you pass away.
And though they love you dearly,
they could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands were put to rest.
God broke a lot of hearts to prove to all......
He only takes the best!!!!
Farewell, my friend, God bless you as you
enter his Kingdom now.

To all of the girls and their children and grandchildren: Ray & I are saddened by the loss of your Dad. Ray remembers being coached by Uncle Don in Little League. His team was the Red Sox, of course. We remember him as being so dependable and he was always there for any event. Our condolences are with you all. Ray & Sandy Currier.

Our very deepest sympathy to all of Donalds family. Will miss our over the fence talks. We have enjoyed many over the years. I'm known as Poppy to my grandson and when he was younger, he asked what a poppy was. I waited for your father's to blossom. There was just one that year. Told your father this and he liked it.
