Sunapee, NH - George R. Beaudoin, age 87, of Sunapee passed Friday, November 3, 2017 at home. He was the husband of the late Lillian A. (Jean) Beaudoin.

George was born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Lionel Beaudoin and the late Florida (Jusseaume) Beaudoin.

George was a general contractor for the family business of L. Beaudoin & Sons and later became self-employed owning George R. Beaudoin & Sons.

He is survived by nine children, Denise McGee of Portsmouth, RI, Roger Beaudoin of Atlantic Beach, FL, Madeleine Gauthier of Surfside Beach, SC, Armand Beaudoin of Portsmout, RI, Jeanne Corser of Portsmouth, RI, Jeanine Beaudoin of Dublin, OH, Paul Beaudoin of Fairhaven, MA, Helene Hagan of Sunapee, NH, and Albert J. Beaudoin of Fall River, MA; one brother, Benoit Beaudoin of Tiverton, RI; two sisters, Jeanne St. Marie of Frostburg, MD, and Rita Dumont of Fall River, MA; 22 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Colette Gagnon.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4983 and at one time was Deputy Grand Knight.  He was also a member of Twin Ridge Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed donating his time to the church, gardening, playing cards, and working in his workshop.

George's funeral service, which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Joachim Church on Rte. 11 in Sunapee, NH.
