Geraldine M (Demars) Richardson

Newport, NH: Geraldine M. Richardson, 91, passed away on December 3, 2017 at Woodlawn Care Center in Newport surrounded by loving family.

She was born on October 28, 1926 in Newport to the late George and Hazel (Morrill) Demars.  Geraldine lived her entire life in Newport raising 8 children. She was a loving and devoted mother. She was a longtime member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Newport.
 
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Edward E. Richardson in 1996, sons, Michael, Gary, David, and Jay, siblings, Joe, Jeffrey, Lorraine, Bunny, Priscilla, and Ginny. Surviving family members include her children, Bruce Richardson and his wife, Lynda of Newport, Kim Richardson and his wife, Audrey of Newport, Lecia of Newport, and Amy Varney of Quechee, VT, sister, Flora Kangas of Newport, 15 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. 

A private family celebration of her life will be held in the future.
