We were pleased to visit with Harold last summer. He knew us immediately and we shared some good memories. He was a faithful volunteer at Old South while we were there, always very supportive of the church's ministry and mission. Unknown to most, he financially supported an educational ministry of one of the UMC's overseas mission projects for many years, not surprising, knowing his earlier hope of becoming an educational missionary.

We were sad to hear of Harold's passing -he was such a kind hearted soul. I had the pleasure of knowing him through my brother-in-law, Danny. Harold always made me smile and was such an interesting person to talk to (he was so smart)! He will be missed by so many. God will bless and keep him now.
