Marjorie E. (Herman) Juchem

Hanover, NH: Marjorie E. Juchem, 89, passed away on January 9, 2018 at Hanover Terrace after several years of declining health.

Marjorie was born on February 13, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Barnard Herman and Evelyn (Becker) Herman.  She worked as a waitress, telephone operator, and home health aide for many years in New York state.  Marjorie married Donald Juchem and they shared sixty-two years together before he passed in 2008. She enjoyed family camping trips, picnics, and other family get-togethers.

Marjorie is predeceased by her husband, Donald, and her brother, William Herman.  She is survived by her sons, Greg Juchem of Tully, NY and his wife Natividad, Todd Juchem of Red Hook, NY, and Darryl Juchem of Kingston, NY; her daughter, Wendy Juchem of Tucson, AZ; her brother, Roger Herman and his wife Bunny of Bradford, NH; her sister, Ethelyn Sherman and her husband Bradford of Newbury, NH; her brother-in-law, Keith Juchem; her grandchildren, Carin, Todd Jr., Amanda, Kimberly, Ryan, Cian, Brett, Allison; ten great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains, NY in the spring.

Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
