Patricia L. (Caron) Ash

Goshen, NH: Patricia L. Ash, 81, passed away on January 1, 2018 at Sullivan County Health Care after several years of declining health.  She was born on December 29, 1936 in Lempster, NH to the late Arthur and Alice (Goodell) Caron. 

Patricia lived in the Newport/Goshen area her entire life.  She enjoyed cooking and everyone loved her famous popcorn.  She liked to go camping with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren.  Patricia was an excellent knitter and knit every kind of clothing you can think of, giving it away to friends and family.  She and her husband, Al, were always willing to help anyone that needed it.  Al was her faithful and devoted companion as she battled dementia during her final years, going to see her every day at Sullivan County.  Patricia will be missed by her family and friends. 

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, her infant son, Stanley Ash, brothers, Arthur, Alan, Robert, and Philip Caron, and sisters, Marilyn Hooper, Connie Caron, and Beverly Davis.

Surviving family members include her husband of 64 years, Albert Ash, sons, James Ash and his wife, Beth of Newport, Phillip "Tuffa" Ash and his wife, Teresa of Newport, daughter, Terry Young and her husband, Robert of Unity, sisters, Janet Robillard, Nancy Santti and her partner, David, Mary Boutwell and her husband, Frank, and Loretta Whipple and her husband, Cary, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members, and their wonderful dog, Bud. 

The family wishes to thank Sullivan County Health Care for their wonderful care of Patricia for the last 7 years.

Per her and Al's wishes, no services will be held.
