Patricia Marie (Willis) Simoneau

Unity, NH: Patricia Marie Simoneau, 71, passed away on October 4, 2017 at Sullivan County Healthcare after many years with Alzheimer's Disease.  She was born on August 10, 1946 in Newport, NH to the late Gordon B. and Clara M. (Frye) Willis. She grew up in Newport and graduated from Towle High School. 

Patricia married Wayne Simoneau in 1964 and they shared many wonderful years together.  Patricia worked as a waitress at the Pines Restaurant, at Arlington Sample, Frameworks, and retired from Whelen Industries.  She was a loving mother with a big heart and was able to stay at home while raising her kids.  She was very understanding with them, even when they tested her patience.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents and by a brother, Danny Willis.

Surviving family members include her husband of 53 years, Wayne Simoneau, Sr. of Newport, sons, Wayne Simoneau Jr. and his wife, Peggy of Newport, Ron Simoneau and his wife Cassy of Charlestown, brothers, Gordon Willis Jr. and his wife Letty, Wayne Willis, and Floyd Willis, sister, Laura Willis, grandchildren, Joe and Josh Simoneau, and Randy and Chelsea Simoneau, and many other extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NH/MA Chapter of the Alzheimer's  Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452 .

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St. Newport, NH.  A funeral service will be held the following day at the funeral home at 11 AM with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport.
