Peter J. Prokop

East Unity, NH: Peter J. Prokop, 90, of Lear Hill Road, died on December 30, 2015 at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH.  He was born on July 29, 1925 to Michael and Anna (Gajdosh) Prokop in Ebervale, PA. 

Peter spent his early years in Ebervale before serving in the United States Air Force during WWII and again during the Korean War.  He worked for Exide Battery in Fairfield, CT for 28 years before retiring to East Unity, NH with his wife of 57 years, Margaret (Gundlach) Prokop.  Peter enjoyed deer hunting and he and Margaret raised Scottish Highland Cows. 

He is survived by his wife, daughter Anna McBriarty and her husband, William of Wallingford, CT, grandchildren, Heidi, William, and Matthew McBriarty all of Wallingford, CT, and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
