Richard G. Hodges

Lempster, NH: Richard G. Hodges of Mountain Road in Lempster died at New London Hospital on September 21, 2016, 5 days after his 63rd birthday.  He was born on September 16, 1953 in Attleboro, MA to the late Charles and Marjorie (Richards) Hodges SR. 
 
Richard served his country in the United States Navy.  He worked at Osram Sylvania for many years before retiring due to illness.  He was an avid fisherman and loved to garden.  He was also a motorcycle enthusiast.
 
Richard was predeceased by his parents. 
 
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Tucker) Hodges of Lempster, NH, son, Eric Hodges and his wife Cassie of Washington, NH, daughter, Kellie Drew and her husband Scott of Washington, NH, siblings, Charles Hodges, Jr. and his wife Virginia of North Attleboro, MA, Jay Hodges and his wife Kathy of Attleboro, MA, Pam Wheelock and her husband Ronnie of Attleboro, MA, and Jane Young of Attleboro, MA, grandchildren, Nicholas and Ryan Drew, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, & great nieces and nephews.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. 
 
Private family services will be held.
