Robert Henry Lane

Springfield, NH: Robert Henry Lane, 79, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016 after many years of failing health.  He was born on March 10, 1937.  He has lived on Sanborn Hill Road in Springfield for the past 37 years.

Robert grew up in Croydon and spent his entire life in the area.  He began working at Cote and Reney Lumber Mill at an early age and also worked in the logging business with his father.  He loved to garden and enjoyed keeping horses and cows on his land.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, John and Doris (Cote) Lane, and recently his niece, Julie Quimby.

Robert is survived by his sister, Sheila Swenson and her husband, Dean of Croydon; nephew, Cory Swenson and his partner, Becky Newcomb of Newport; nephew, Mitchell Swenson and his wife, Claudia of Cape Coral, FL; nephew, Gary Quimby of Croydon; 2 grandnephews, 2 grandnieces and 4 great-grandnieces.
