Ruth E. Faulkner

LEMPSTER, NH – Ruth E. Faulkner, 90, of School Road died suddenly Oct. 6, 2015 at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont.  She was born in Boston, MA the daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth (Musker) Whalen.  She spent her early years in Lexington, MA before moving to Lempster in 1949.  Ruth had worked many years at Hartford Element Co. and Arlington Book, both in Newport and 8 years at Sylvania in Hillsborough, NH.  She enjoyed picking wild strawberries and making jam from them and was an avid Scrabble player.   Ruth was predeceased by her husband, George, in 2003, a son, Timothy, and a great grandson, Austin Noyes.

 Members of her surviving family include a son, Frederick P. Faulkner of Newport, NH; 3 daughters, Ruth Callum (Cecil "Richard") of East Unity, NH, Sharon Place of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Ann-Marie Mason of Lempster, NH; 6 grandchildren, Harold Noyes (Christi), Beth Kelso (Mark), Robert Noyes (Jamie), Ian Faulkner (Angela), Julie Bennett, and Andrea Hagedorn (Thomas); 10 great grandchildren, Grace Rushing, Dallas Bailey, Virginia Noyes, Robert Noyes, Jr., Brian Noyes, Nicole Noyes, Gregory Harper, III, Dominique Bennett, Skylar Bennett and Deja Bennett; 4 nephews; her former daughter-in-law and close friend, Mona Faulkner Hague and a sister-in-law, Elsie Faulkner.

Memorial services will be held in the summer of 2016 at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lempster Rescue Department.  Please make checks payable to the Town of Lempster, with Rescue Dept. in the Memo line and mail to Town of Lempster, PO Box 33, Lempster, NH 03605.
