Ruth Shultz

Ruth Shultz 94:  Passed away December 9, 2017 at Woodlawn Nursing Home.  She was born in Alexandria, NH in 1923 to Charles Shepard and Nina Iona Braley.  Ruth had 11 siblings and is predeceased by her brothers Raymond, Wilfred, Robert, Ernest, Wendall, and Wayne; sisters Madeline, Theta, and Olive; husbands Russell Muzzey Jr., Harold Smith, and Walter Shultz; and sons Russell Muzzey III, William Muzzey, and Wayne Smith, great-grandsons Derick W. Muzzey, Kacy Ryan Muzzey, step-daughter Donzella Pelletier, step-grandson Wendell Bedell, and step great-grandson, Wyatt Kenney.

She was married to Walter for 34 years and enjoyed traveling, especially to their home in Florida during the winters. 

Ruth also enjoyed knitting and crocheting along with spending time with many family and friends. 

She is survived by her sisters June Zweeres and Shirley LaPlante, grandchildren Walter Muzzey, David Muzzey, Janet Morgan, Laura Ellison, Ryan Muzzey, Ashley Smith, and Kymberly Kenney, step-sons Howard Shultz and David Shultz, step-daughter Tammy Csutor, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, in-laws, and step family.

Graveside services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery Tuesday, December 19th at 11am. There will be no calling hours. Small reception to follow.
