Victoria M. (Whitney) MacIntyre

Newport, NH: Victoria M. MacIntyre, 74, died at New London Hospital on September 22, 2016 after a period of declining health.  She was born on December 8, 1941 in Newport, NH to the late Merton and Mildred (Gobin) Whitney.  She attended Newport schools and has lived in the area most of her life.

Victoria liked to have a good time and enjoyed a party with family and friends.  She has worked at Dorr Woolen Mill, Brampton Wool Company, and Encore Shoe Manufacturing.  She lived in Florida for 13 years where she reupholstered coach buses.  

Victoria was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Verlan MacIntyre in 2007. 

Survivors include her children, Anna Locke of Newport, Walter Ingalls of Newport, Wayne Ingalls and his wife Michele Nillson of Quechee, VT, Dale MacIntyre of Newport and Sue Ingalls of Newport, grandchildren, Elizabeth Hamilton, Heather and Hillary Ingalls, Craig, Mathew and Jeff Ingalls, Devon and Bianca MacIntyre, great-grandchildren, Emily and Arianna Ingalls and Chance Greene, brother, Merton Whitney Jr. and his wife Marlys of Effort, PA, sister, Katherine Sorento and her husband Donald of Goshen, NH and other extended family members. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Sunapee VNA and Hospice at P.O. Box 2209 New London, NH 03257.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Newport, NH with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport, NH.
