My husband and I had gotten very close to Wayne over the past couple years. We had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful man through my sister Jean. Wayne just instantly became part of our family from the day we met him. We will always remember and cherish the many times we had just sitting at the table drinking coffee and hearing all of his funny and crazy stories. We will forever miss his feistiness when he would tell us some of his stories. He was a gentle soul and a great man. It was such a joy to see how he would just light up when our grandchildren would come to visit. He had such a wonderful bond with our whole family. He will forever be missed but not forgotten . Our condolences to Wayne’s family and to my sister Jean who has been a wonderful partner to Wayne and been a rock for him when he had his good days and bad. You were there every step of the way for him and for that everyone will be forever grateful.
With love
Cyndie & Bill Souza

I had the pleasure of getting to know Wayne, and Jean over the last 3 years-- the back and forth humor and their interactions, and realism really drew me in, and was priceless!!! Wayne-- may you continue to have things, just as you see fit, and Jean, hugs to you, and the family. ♡

Words can’t express how truly saddened I am to see Wayne leave. My children and I have gotten to know Wayne over the past couple years thanks to his loving and caring partner Jean. My children have grown a special bond with Wayne and absolutely enjoyed every time him and Jean would come visit us . Wayne would always tell me that kids never took to him but that my kids were the first ones to ever get attached so fast . I will miss his crazy stories and his quirky jokes but most of all I will miss the loving and caring man that he was . My family and I feel honored that we got to know such a great man . And we are truly grateful for Jean who has been there 100 percent for Wayne making sure he was OK and taking care of him hundred percent of the way . We will see you on the other side my friend and can’t wait to hear more of your stories !
We love you
Josephine, Billy, and Amelia, lil Billy and Carter Souza
