Ann Marie (Lawlor) Boardman

Bellows Falls, VT - Ann Marie (Lawlor) Boardman, 70, died peacefully at home on August 10, 2017 in Bellows Falls, VT with her loving daughter at her side.

Born May 23, 1947 to Charles and Catherine (Powers) Lawlor, Ann grew up in Bellows Falls, VT and graduated from Bellows Falls High School in 1965.

Ann worked in transportation with St. Johnsbury Trucking in Bellows Falls and at Holmes Transportation in White River Junction. She then worked at Chambers Mobile Home Village in VT, followed by working at The Bindery in Woodstock, VT. She then went on to employment at Roswell Super Speedway in Roswell, NM. From there she worked at Wonder Wash Laundromat and Lucky Clover Laundromat. She was co-owner of the Ice Cream Cone and Laundromat in Newport, NH. While in Newport, she also worked at Ocean State Job Lots . Next, she became a news carrier for both The Union Leader in Manchester, NH and The Valley News in Lebanon, NH. One of her last places of employment was at K-Mart in Claremont, NH. But her all-time favorite position throughout her lifelong career was that of mother to her beloved daughter, Nancy.

She was a devout member of St. Charles Church in Bellows Falls and continued her journey of faith with St. Patrick Parish in Newport, NH.

On October 5, 1974, she married the love of her life, Carlot W. Boardman in Milton, VT. They enjoyed thirty-two wonderful years together before Carlot unfortunately suddenly passed away on June 4, 2006.

Ann is predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her brother, William Lawlor.

Surviving family includes her daughter, Nancy Boardman; her brother, Francis Lawlor; and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann's name may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America, ASPCA, or MDA.

In honor of Ann's final wishes, services will be private.
