Dawna Wiggins Obituary

Manchester, NH-Dawna L. Wiggins, 62, of Country Club Drive, died on March 6, 2019, surrounded by her loving family after a period of declining health.

She was born in Newport, NH on November 14, 1956, the daughter of the late John Wiggins and Maxine (Greenleaf) Wiggins Guimond.

She graduated from Newport High School in 1975 and soon thereafter moved to Manchester.  Dawna loved Manchester and enjoyed working at various firms in accounting positions. 

She had a great time going to flea markets and antiquing and especially enjoyed the shops from York, ME to Arundel, ME.  She was a collector of vintage compacts and handbags.  A creative soul, Dawna had a flair for making her home look nice and putting things together.  She had beautiful penmanship.  She liked to attend concerts and was a very caring person.

She is predeceased by her father, John.  Dawna is survived by her mother, Maxine Guimond of Newport, NH; two sisters, Heather and her husband, Jim Robbins of Hawthorne, NY and Sandee Wiggins of White Plains, NY; a brother, Toby and his wife, Dyna Wiggins of Palm Springs, CA; her companion, Carl Manning of Manchester, NH; nieces and nephews, Monfed, Samantha,  Jimmy, Matthew and his wife, Melissa and their children, Emmy and Christian.

A calling hour will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM, with a memorial service starting promptly at 11 AM, on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH.

Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA, American Cancer Society (Ovarian Cancer) or the charity of one's choice.
