Emil Joseph Delangis

Newport, NH - Emil J. Delangis, 87, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2018 at Sullivan County Healthcare after a long illness.

 

Emil was born on March 15, 1931 to the late Anthony and Laura (Vaundry) Delangis in Newport, NH and was a lifelong resident.  He worked in textile at the Brampton Woolen Mill.  Friends and family often referred to him as "Bud."

 

He is predeceased by his parents and a grandson, Christopher Delangis.  Surviving family includes his wife, Rosa (Cordero) Delangis; son, Francisco "Frank" Delangis and his wife, Janet, of Bozeman, MT; daughter, Carmen Hoag and her husband, Carson, of Springfield, VT; sister, Honey Zinn and her husband, Rupert, of Hinsdale, NH; grandchildren, Andrea Delangis, Olivia Hoag, and Mackenzie Hoag; cousins, Jean, Leca, and Gladys; and many extended family and friends.

 

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 9 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Newport, NH.  A graveside service will immediately follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Newport, NH.
