George E. Russell

Goshen, NH-George E. Russell “Gentle Giant”, 79, of Badger Road, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born in Hartford, CT on September 29, 1937 the son of Arthur F. and Bertha F. (Chadwick) Russell.
George graduated from Simonds Free High School in Warner, NH and then entered the US Air Force.  He worked as a machinist for Jones and Lamson  and Fellows Gear Shaper both in Springfield, VT.

He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and was interested in following all of their games and players.

He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Arthur F. Russell, Jr., a stepson, Michael and two of Ruth’s children, Brenda and Randy.  He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ruth (Hamel) Russell of Goshen, NH; five children from a previous marriage, Melanie, Melinda, Matina, Mitchell and Marcus; Ruth’s four children, Ralph, Roger, Richie and Roxanne; a sister, Elaine C. Richardson of Newport, NH and two brothers, Donald E. Russell and William R. Russell, Sr. both of FL.

There will be no service.
