George,
My experience of you is that you were always welcoming, friendly, and smiling. I see your smile sometimes in others and am reminded of how much your gentle way of being has affected so many people over the years. You are missed, but more importantly, remembered.
Keep smiling.
Janine

Always know memories of love with you. Thankful for the sweet memories and the laughter's too. The efforts you made at being Dad by coming to one of my first jobs ( a&w) and teaching me how to drive standard(with your station wagon). Our Father/ daughter talk on the summer porch steps the night before my wedding, to name a few tender moments, some that still bring me laughter. You certainly knew how to make an embarrassing situation funny! I love you and do that God for my memories with you.i did rember to pray for you while you were here on earth, over the yrs and hope all your dreams came out good .my love, linda.

My dad was a wonderful father to all of his children. I have nothing but good memories of him in my own life; and recall all he did to show his love, to provide for, and support each of us children from his previous marriage to my mother.
When dad was younger and raising us children he not only went to all of my sister and brothers sport games; but also himself played softball, was on a bowling team, and also voluteered as a firefighter. He had many friends here in Springfield,VT where he raised us children. I can not imagine my childhood life without his love and protection as my dad.
I am eternally thankful for his visits to me through the years and the home and family he was blessed to have later in life. He will be greatly missed but always in my thoughts and heart.

Ruth and family,
We haven't known George for very long but I can honestly say he was a "Teddy Bear". Watching you and George at Emma's softball games was as much fun as watching Em's catch. George watched with such pride, anyone watching would have thought he was her Grandfather :) Birthday parties he always had a smile, enjoying the little ones antics! John and I are truly blessed to have his friendship and yours. Rest in peace George....
