Marian Eleanor (Johnson) Pinches

Lempster, NH:  Marian (Johnson) Pinches, formally of Kensington, Connecticut passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the age of 87.  She was born on May 23, 1930, in New Britain, Connecticut, the daughter of Alvar R. Johnson and Marjorie (Luce) Johnson.

A graduate of Berlin High School, class of 1947, and The Moody Secretarial School, New Britain, CT.

A resident of Kensington, Connecticut for 62 years, upon her retirement from Berlin Steel Construction Company, Berlin, Connecticut, she and her husband took up residency in Lempster, New Hampshire in 1991.

She was the widow of Richard B. Pinches, who predeceased her on March 7, 1996.  She was also predeceased by a sister, Sallie J. Pollard and her husband George (Puz) Pollard and a nephew Jeffrey Pollard.

Her family includes four children, Charles E. Pinches of East Hartford, CT, Nancy Kane of Vero Beach, Florida, Richard C. Pinches and his wife Cindy also of Vero Beach, Florida, and Beth Brown and husband Gary of Lempster, NH.  She also leaves granddaughters, Madeline and Samantha Pinches, grandsons, Corbin and Gregory Kane; and Christopher and Justin Pinches.  Three great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. One niece, Carrie P. Donoghue, one nephew, Thom Pollard, and four cousins.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family, to be held in the spring in the family plot, at West Lane Cemetery, Kensington, CT.
