Newport, NH-Patricia J. (Clough) Bartlett, 79, of South Main Street, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at her nephew's home in Lempster surrounded by her family.
She was born in Canterbury, NH on May 26, 1937 the daughter of Theodore and Edith (Parker) Clough.
She graduated from Hampton Academy and High School in 1955 and completed her x-ray technician studies at Notre Dame Hospital in Manchester, NH in 1959.
Pat was employed at Lowell General Hospital in MA before moving to Newport, NH where she worked at both Newport Hospital and Valley Regional Hospital.
She was a music enthusiast as shown by her many years of involvement in the Ruger Band, Newport Opera House Band, Area Choir and the Upper Valley Community Band. Pat was an honorary member of the American Legion playing the bugle for many events and services. She loved hunting, fishing and any outdoor activities that involved use of her tractors and spending time with her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Clinton S. Bartlett, her parents and her sister, JoAnne Collins.
Patricia leaves behind two sisters, Shirlene Tremblay and her husband, Wilfred J. Tremblay and Betty Walters; 12 nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Friends may call at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 10-11:30 A.M. and a graveside service will follow in North Newport Cemetery.
