Sue A. (Parizo) Benson

Newport, NH: Sue A. Benson, 62, died on December 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 18, 1956 in Newport to Helen (Ellison) Parizo and the late Maurice Parizo. 

Sue grew up in Newport and has lived in the area her entire life. She always liked to have a fun time, enjoyed dancing and a good family party.  She was a hardworking woman who worked at several jobs throughout her life.  She was free spirited and outgoing. She enjoyed cooking and baking as well as gardening and doing yard work.  Family was the most important thing in Sue's life, she loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. 

Sue was predeceased by her father, her brother, Maurice Parizo, Jr., and her grandson, Thomas Simpson, Jr.

Surviving family include her husband, Steve Benson of Newport, mother, Helen Parizo, children, Theresa Davis and her husband, Matthew, of Newport, Tracie West of Concord, Dale West and his wife, Sherry, of Claremont, Tara Benson and her husband, James Richardson, of Newport, sisters, Gloria Gobin and Cindy Colby and her husband, Donald Colby, all of Newport, grandchildren, Austin, Joshua, and Damian Partlow, Shane and Jonathan Davis, Stephanie Butler, Kearsten Pillsbury, Brandon Kuhns, Dale West, Jr., Zachary Coleman, Steven West, and Bryan, Jason, and Mariah Robie, several great-grandchildren, and extended family members.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 11-1 pm with a memorial service at 1 pm at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Newport, NH.
