Goffstown, NH: Alfred Albert Ayotte, age 89, of Pinellas Park, Florida, formerly of Londonderry, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on December 29, 1935, in Goshen, New Hampshire, Alfred was the son of Alfred and Daisy Ayotte. In 1961, he married Cynthia. Together, they shared 57 years of marriage. They enjoyed camping for the summer months at Crow's Nest in Newport, New Hampshire.
An avid hunter, Alfred enjoyed spending time in the forests of New York and North Woodstock, New Hampshire. He was also a passionate member of the Palm Springs Shuffleboard Club and loved shrimping along the Florida coast. In quieter moments, he found peace and joy in building puzzles.
Alfred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cynthia, his son Robert Sampson, daughters Gloria Leighton and Eleanor of Maxfield Eccleston, and his siblings Alfred, Kenneth, George and Roy Ayotte, as well as his sisters Gloria Kremidas and Theresa Woods.
He is survived by his brother Robert Ayotte of Unity, NH and his sister Gail Peterson of Pinellas Park Fl. His children, Diane and David Gillenwalters of Delanson, NY, Thomas and Jenny Ayotte of Port Richey, FL, Howard and Cathy Sampson of Goshen, NH, Wayne and Donna Ayotte of Litchfield, NH, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Newport, New Hampshire on June 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a gathering at the Moose Lodge in Newport, NH, to celebrate Alfred's life and legacy.

Alfred will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
