Anson Moryan Ritondo

Anson Moryan Ritondo, 20, passed away on July 24, 2025 at his home in Newport.  He was born on January 1, 2005 in Lebanon, NH.

Anson grew up in Newport and graduated from Newport Montessori School and Newport High School.  He was a great athlete, enjoying baseball, soccer, and especially wrestling.  He had been working at Hypertherm in Lebanon for about a year.  Anson had lots of friends and a big heart.  He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  He loved animals and volunteered his time at local animal shelters.

Anson was predeceased by his grandfather, Michael Ritondo.  Surviving family members include his parents, Michael Ritondo and Willow Moryan of Newport; grandparents, Mary Ritondo, and Ginny and Bill Moryan; siblings, Owen Ritondo of Salt Lake City, UT, Ethan Ritondo of Newport, and Eden Ritondo of Newport; aunts and uncles, Laurel Wolph, Michele Yurechko and her husband, Paul, and daughter, Katie, Kerry Ritondo and her wife, Kathy Hanlon and their kids, Michael and Maeve; his beloved dog Izzy; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Windham County Humane Society in Brattleboro, VT.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2025 from 5 - 7 PM at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH.
