Barbara J (Aldridge) Wiggins

Sunapee, NH: Barbara J. Wiggins, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Sunapee surrounded by family on May 11, 2021.  She was born on August 26, 1939 in Bellows Falls, VT to the late Herbert and Mary (Bousquet) Aldridge.

Barbara graduated from Springfield, VT High School.  She married Martin Wiggins, Sr., and they spent 63 years together and were married 62 years. They spent their time raising their family in Sunapee.  Barbara owned and operated a licensed daycare in her home for more than 30 years.  She loved being with her husband and her family.  She enjoyed the ocean, Colony Beach in Kennebunkport, ME, and watching the boats from the jetty.  She liked car rides with her husband, Martin, going out for seafood, and fishing with her husband and the rest of the family.  She also liked family photos and doing ancestry research.  Barbara will be missed by her loving family.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, sister, Madelyn Sears, and brother in law, Stuart Snow.

Surviving family members include her loving husband, Martin Wiggins, Sr., of Sunapee, son, Martin Wiggins, Jr., of Manchester, NH, daughter, Nadine Drew and her husband, Brent, of Sunapee, sister, Elaine Snow of Ludlow, VT, brother in law, William Sears of Ludlow, VT, grandchildren, Ashley Drew Fromer, Michael Drew and his wife, Brooke, Amanda Wiggins, and Erika Wiggins, great-grandchildren, Chloe, Sailor, and Jaxson, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
