It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brandon Lee Claflin would announce his very sudden and tragic passing on November 30th, 2025 following a fatal car accident that has left all who loved and cared for him in complete shock.
Brandon was born on September 2, 1999 - the son of Lauri-Anne Lamery-Claflin (Claremont, NH) and Allan Claflin, Jr (Lakeland, FL). Brandon grew up a spontaneous child in the Claremont/Newport area, attending school last in Newport, NH. Following his school days, you could find Brandon enjoying his life and most precious times surrounded by family and friends. He had a love of doing anything outdoors and being in nature. You’d often find him anywhere near a patch of water with a fish pole and worms in hand, ready to catch the next bite at any moment. Brandon also enjoyed other things in his short life including RC cars, 3-D Printing, tattooing, his many indoor aquariums, and above all being a loving father and husband. Brandon loved being a father, and he sure was amazing at it.
Brandon leaves behind his loving wife and partner, Heidi Claflin (Henry) and his three children; stepdaughter Faye Burch (6 years old), and two sons Octavious Lamery Claflin (3 years old), and Felix Lamery Claflin (2 years old) of Claremont, NH; parents Lauri-Anne Lamery-Claflin with step father Scott Rines (Claremont, NH), and Allan Claflin, Jr (Lakeland, Florida); Grandparents Alan Sr and Betty Lamery (Claremont, NH); Siblings Kimberly Donnelly with husband Edmund Donnelly (Piedmont SC), Kayla Carlock (Newport, NH), Kora Pace with husband Garret Pace (Rutherfordton NC), Nikita Felton with husband Jonathon Felton (Lakeland, FL), Kenneth Lamery-Claflin with husband William Grey (Claremont, NH), Kyle Lamery-Claflin (Claremont, NH), Courtney Cassidy (Allentown, PA); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Brandon was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Allan Claflin, Sr and Nancy Claflin, great grandparents Richard and Arlene Lamery, Donald and Pearl Lader, Sr and John and Thalma Salo, a paternal uncle Kenneth Claflin, and a maternal great uncle Gary Lader.
Family invites friends and loved ones to gather at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home on 42 Main Street in Newport, NH on Friday, December 5th , 2025 from 4 PM to 6 PM to mourn with them and share loving memories that they have of Brandon.
