Carol A (Simpson) Ingalls

Newport, NH: Carol A. Ingalls, 76, passed away at Woodlawn Care Center in Newport on February 1, 2021 after a period of declining health.  She was born on February 28, 1944 in Newport to the late Agnes (Louiselle) Kenney and Walter Simpson, Sr.

Carol lived in the Newport area all of her life.  She was quite a character, witty and sarcastic. She raised her children and took care of her home.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Carol was predeceased by her parents, son, Ralph Ingalls, Jr., son in law, Everett Sanborn, Sr., and brother, Ronald Simpson.

Surviving family members include her children, Mona Sanborn and her husband, David, Clarissa Sanborn, and Frank Ingalls, all of Newport, sister, Constance Ingalls, grandchildren, Jason Willey, Heather Bushway, Everett Sanborn, Jr., and Tyler Sanborn, great-grandchildren, Ashton and Zayla Bushway, Andrea Willey, and Rayne Sanborn, and many other extended family members. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday August 22, 2021 at 2 PM in Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport.  A reception and celebration of life will follow at the Newport Moose Club until 5 PM.
