Charlotte J. (Temple) Richardson

Newport, NH: Charlotte J. Richardson, 78, passed away peacefully at New London Hospital after a short period of declining health.  She was born in Concord, NH on June 28, 1943 to the late Eugene Temple, Sr. and Sarah (Mignault) Temple. 

Charlotte worked at Sportwelt Shoe Company, Woodlawn Care Center, and spent more than 20 years working for the State of NH.  In retirement, she also worked for the Meriden Church. 

Charlotte enjoyed her life and loved spending time with her family.  She liked family get-togethers and was always up for a game of washer toss.  She liked to go fishing and traveled several times to Nova Scotia.  She always wanted to make sure her hair was done.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, husband, George M. Richardson, Jr., brother, Sylvester Temple, sister, Betty Gosselin, brother in law, Edward Flanders, Sr., and grandson, Jacob Raymond.

Surviving family members include her children, Suzanne Richardson of Newport, Edward Richardson and his wife, Renee, of Franklin, and Michael Richardson of Newport, siblings, Eugene Temple, Jr. and his wife, Patricia, Frederick Temple, Sr., Linda Flanders and her husband, Jerry, Marilla Flanders, and Barbara Warriner and her husband, Gary, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 4 to 6 PM at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH.  Burial will be held on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 2 PM in Sunny Plain Cemetery in Bradford, NH.
