Christopher Jon Ayotte, Sr.

Newport, NH: Christopher Jon Ayotte Sr, 48 years old, passed away from medical complications on April 29, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on December 14, 1973, to his parents Patricia Ayotte Shampney and John Hopkins Sr.

He was formerly employed at Durgin and Crowell Lumber Company, as well as Evarts Lumber. He loved being outdoors; in his youth he enjoyed camping, hiking, swimming, and fishing. He loved to listen to classic rock and country music, some of his favorites included Bob Seger and Hank Williams Jr. He enjoyed the company of friends and family, whether it be laughing around a campfire or playing a game of cards.

He was predeceased by his fiancée Ivis Thurber, his parents, his brother Albert Ayotte, and several friends. Surviving family includes 4 children, his daughter Stephanie Ayotte and her fiancé Christopher Spencer, his sons Christopher Ayotte Jr, Nicholas Ayotte, and Jacob Ayotte. He is survived by grandchildren Mallory, Eloise, Hermione, and Oliver. He is also survived by his brothers Alan Ayotte Sr, Brian Ayotte and Keith Ayotte.
