Corey N Davis

Corey N. Davis of Newport went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2021.  He was born on February 27, 1984 in Concord, NH to Ellie (Davis) Osuch and the late Gary Davis.

Corey grew up in the town of Sunapee and attended Sunapee schools.  He enjoyed being outdoors all year long; tinkering with his tractor, fishing, dirt biking, mountain biking and snowboarding.  He won the first Slush Cup at Mt. Sunapee.  Corey was a loyal friend, animal and nature lover, and loved his old dog, Willis. 

 He was a self-employed contractor and loved working on all kinds of wood projects.    He also enjoyed sugaring in the spring along with working in the vegetable garden and firework shows in the summer. 

Corey was a wonderful and loving uncle.  He always enjoyed when his nieces and nephews were around and they all enjoyed driving his tractor.   Corey will surely be missed by all.

Corey was predeceased by his father, Gary Hamel Davis, maternal grandparents, Theodore and Constance Osuch, grandfathers, Alden Davis and Anthony Disa, uncles, Danny Davis and Theodore Osuch, Jr., and an aunt who passed away when she was a baby, Cheryl Anne Osuch.

Surviving family members include his mother, Ellie (Davis) Osuch of Newport, NH, grandmother, Joyce Disa of Newport, sisters, Amanda Carney of Texas, Samantha Gambino of Newport, and Naomi Gambino of Newport, aunts, Cynthia Covel, Suzanne Osuch, Elizabeth Jarkowsky, Katherine Ehrig, Roberta Lincoln, and Dori Kimball, 9 nieces and nephews, 11 first cousins, and many extended family members and friends. 

A memorial service and celebration of Corey's life will be held at Lake Church, 314 Sunapee Street, Newport, on June 18, 2021 at 4 PM.  All are welcome.
