Newport, NH: Cynthia R. (Mendyk) Densmore, 68, passed away at her home on February 1, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born on July 21, 1952 in Derby, CT to the late Andrew J. and Michelena M. (Gagliardi) Mendyk.

Cynthia has spent her whole life in New England, moving to the Newport/Sunapee area in her 20's. Cynthia was a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed cooking. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poetry. She liked going to the beach and spending time with her family. She loved her cats, Holly Jean, Kahn, and Bella.

Cynthia was predeceased by her parents, daughter, Michelle Valko, brother, Andrew Mendyk, and son in law, Edward Marganski.

Surviving family members include her daughters, Lauren Marganski of CT, Andrea Polin and her husband, Rich of Lakeland, FL, and Melissa Ash and her husband, Jason of Lakeland, FL, ex husband, Jim Densmore of Claremont, NH, sister, Sandra Mendyk, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held in Florida at a later date.
