David E. Magoon

David E. Magoon, Sr., 91, of Newport, NH passed on November 22, 2024. He was born to Arthur and DellaMae (Ward) Magoon on March 13, 1933 in Middlesex, VT.

David was predeceased by his parents, wife Mary, daughter Tina Marie, son David E. Magoon, Jr., son-in-law Bill Melendy, grandsons, Mannie Blanchette and Shawn Willis, and his four brothers: Edgar, Dick, Merlin, and Jerry Magoon.

Surviving children include Debi and Eddi Currier of AL, Cindy Parker of AL, Arthur and Karen Magoon of VT, Nancy Melendy of NH, Rhonda and Tim Hynes of NH, Randy and Wendy Magoon of NH, Mark and Karen Magoon of NH, Wendy Magoon and Dale Ferland, 21 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

David enjoyed time with his dog Quinnie and his family, camping, fishing, sitting on the porch watching the birds.

Graveside services are being held at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport, NH on Saturday, December 14, 2024, followed by a celebration of life at Faith River Church, 232 N. Main Street, Newport, NH.
