Canaan, NH: Deborah J. Clements, 66, passed away on August 25, 2023 surrounded by family at the Jack Byrne Hospice Center in Lebanon, NH.
She was born on May 29, 1957 in Boston, MA to John Clements, Sr. and the late Jean A (Williams) Clements.
Deb worked for over 40 years at Astronics Luminescent Systems in Lebanon, NH - she made many lifelong friends there. Deb was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was always there to lend a hand with the grandbabies, answer a phone call to help her daughters with a cooking recipe or to answer nightly FaceTimes to simply chat about the day. Deb also enjoyed watching all the wildlife at her home in Canaan with Bob. They would watch deer, birds, and chipmunks from their front porch together. You could always count on her to have a delicious dessert on the counter and an ever-changing light display in the yard. Deb certainly made those around her smile.
Deborah was predeceased by her mother, Jean Clements, and her stepson, Rob Curtis.
Surviving family include her fiancé of 24 years, Bob Curtis of Canaan; father, John Clements; daughters, Amanda Allen and her husband, Pat of Charlestown, Nicole Wardwell and her husband, Codie of Enfield; stepdaughter, Jessica Thibodeau and her husband, Jon of Canaan; grandchildren, Nora and Aubrey Allen, Liam and Reed Wardwell, and Ashlynn Thibodeau; brother, John Clements, Jr. and his wife, Tricia; sister, Cheryl Piotti and her husband, Bobby; sister in law, Jill Curtis; and many extended family members.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
