Dena was born on August 2, 1967, in Claremont, NH and grew up in Kellyville and Croydon, NH. She graduated from Newport High School in 1985. She started work at Lake Sunapee Savings Bank when she was seventeen, where she made long lasting friendships and memories in her 27 years there. At the time of her death, she was working for Vermont State Employee Credit Union.

Dena was a fun-spirited, quick witted and adventurous soul who loved motorcycle rides with her new husband of two months, Christopher, his big hugs, exploring the Florida beaches and concerts with him and just living life. In earlier years in NH, she loved spending time with her family and friends, shopping with her mom and sister, hanging with “the girls”, camping at Paradise Park with the Wade’s and riding waves with her boys at OOB, Bills Pizza and Pier Fries, fudge, yard sales, flea markets and visits to the “Big City” (Boston).

More than anything, Dena absolutely loved and adored her sons Austin and Owen and was immensely proud of the men they have become.

Dena was a beautiful person inside and out, kind, and enthusiastic. Her stunning smile and contagious laugh would light up any room and she will be forever missed as she sails on a journey to shores we cannot see.
