Everett A. Sanborn, Sr.

Newport, NH - Everett A. Sanborn, Sr., 55, passed away on November 8, 2019 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center after a brief illness.

Everett was born on December 12, 1963 in Newport, NH to the late Arthur Sanborn, Sr. and Jane (Parker) Sanborn.  He grew up in Sunapee in his younger years before moving to Newport.

Everett was known as a jack-of-all trades.  He worked various jobs, such as construction, carpentry, sawmills,  and both the Town of Newport cemetery and highway departments.

He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

He his predeceased by his parents; brother, Kenny Sanborn; half-sister, Betty Monroe; sister-in-law, April Sanborn; and grandchild, Taylor Bushway.  He is survived by his wife and life partner of over 40 years, Clarissa (Ingalls) Sanborn;  sons, Everett Sanborn, Jr. and Tyler Sanborn, both of Newport; daughter, Heather Bushway of Claremont; brothers, Scott Sanborn, Sr. and Arthur Sanborn, Jr.; sister, Julie Keith and her husband Mark; half-sisters, Glenda Parrotto, Brenda Blackington, and Kay Cutts; grandchildren, Ashton Bushway, Zayla Bushway, and Rayne Sanborn; and many extended family members.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St. Newport, NH 03773 with a prayer service starting at 3:30 p.m.
