Guild, NH: Gerald "Tom" Currier, 75, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on June 18, 2023 after years of declining health. He was born on September 10, 1947 in Newport, NH to the late Clyde and Helen (Snow) Currier.
Tom graduated from Newport High School and worked in landscaping at the Newport Hospital for 12 years. He worked at Dorr Woolen for 9 years before serving his country as a medic in the United States Air Force. He attended the Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd for many years.
Tom enjoyed woodworking, baseball, fishing, landscaping, snowshoeing, wrestling and spending time with family and friends. He loved taking rides with Shawn and going out to eat, ice cream being his favorite. He was friendly, always helping people out, and enjoyed chatting with everyone and telling jokes. He was a proud member of the American Legion.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Russell Currier and Danny Cecil. Surviving family include his children, Shawn Currier of Guild and Stephanie Currier of MA; grandchildren, Kyle Currier of Claremont, Cole Currier of MA, and Katelyn LaClair; brothers, Larry Currier and his wife, Norma, of North Carolina, and Eddie Currier of Florida; ex-wife, Diane Currier; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A visitation will be held on Friday June 23 from 10 to 11:30 AM at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Newport, with a funeral service at noon at the Church of the Good Shepherd with burial with military honors to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
