Helen Peckham Obituary
Unity, NH: Helen Louise Peckham, 75, passed away at her home on September 11, 2024 with her husband of 56 years, Edward, by her side.
Helen was born to Edward and Florence (Goyette) Young in Newport, NH on May 10, 1949.
She graduated from high school in 1967 in Ellington, CT, and married her high school sweetheart, Edward J. Peckham II, in 1968.
Over the years, Helen would take many trips to Atlantic City with her friends and sisters. She also loved trips to Foxwoods, and playing bingo. When her grandchildren came along, they were her everything. She loved spending time with them and taking them to Disney World.
She worked for almost 14 years at Ames before going to work at Lake Sunapee Bank as the manager of the proof department.
Helen was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Guinn.
Her surviving family includes her husband Edward; her daughter Tammy Baker and son-in-law Ronnie; her son Edward J. Peckham III and his wife Heather; her daughter Laurie Peckham; her son Daniel J. Peckham and his significant other Kelli; her grandchildren Alanna Hurst and her husband Adam, Alex McNeel and his significant other Desarae, Zackary McNeel, Gage Raymond, Ashley and Emily Peckham, Blaine Peckham; her great grandchildren Morgan Hurst, Lucas McNeel and Harper Barry; and her sisters Sandra Johnson and her husband Terry, Loretta Young, and her brother Robert Young and his wife Terry.
The family will hold a celebration of life cookout at a later date.
