Janice E. (Albro) Bryk

Newport, NH: Janice E. Bryk, 75, passed away peacefully at New London Hospital on January 13, 2024 after a period of declining health.  She was born on January 7, 1949 in Derby, Connecticut to the late Franklin and Evelyn (Goodman) Albro. 

Janice graduated from Seymour High School in CT with the class of 1967.  She worked at Hershey Metal in Connecticut where she met Conrad Bryk.  They were married on May 23, 1970 and moved to NH in 1973.  Janice enjoyed family life in NH, raising her children and running the household.  She was an avid crafter, enjoying sewing, knitting, and also baking.  She worked at several places over the years, including Hartford Eichenauer and the Sullivan County Commissioner’s Office.  She and Conrad enjoyed trips and camping in Island Pond.  Janice enjoyed several years of retirement, spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband in 2017, Conrad Bryk, parents, and a sister, Karyn Albro.

Surviving family members include her children, Jeff Bryk and his wife, Carolyn, of Auburn, NH, Lisa Perry and her husband, Gregg, of Manchester, NH; brothers, David Albro and his wife, Beverly, of Oxford, CT, and Wayne Albro of Naugatuck, CT; grandchildren, Marissa and Hunter Perry, and Abigail Bryk; several nieces; and other extended family members.

Per Janice’s wishes, there will be no services.
