John "Jack" Grantham Obituary
Newport, NH: John “Jack” Grantham, 79, passed away at his home on South Main Street on August 1, 2026. He was born in Newport News, VA on May 31, 1947 to the late Arnold and Margaret (Thibodeau) Grantham.
Jack moved to Newport at a young age and lived the rest of his life in the Newport area. He owned and operated Stone Vault Company manufacturing and providing cemetery monument and vaults to a large area of New Hampshire and Vermont. In later years, he enjoyed delivering meals for Meals on Wheels.
Jack was predeceased by his parents, and by his wife, Sandra Grantham in 2001.
Surviving family members include his partner of many years, Tina Orcutt, and his brothers Robert Grantham, Michael Grantham, and Christopher Grantham.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 5 to 7 PM at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH. A graveside service will be held the following day, Friday, at 10 AM at Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport.
