Kathleen Smith Obituary

Kathleen S. Smith, 86, of Sunapee, NH , passed away on Sunday, June 5, at New London Hospital in New London, NH.

She was born on February 29th, 1936 to Maurice and Glencia (Chapman) Sinclair in Newport, NH. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Irving, of Sunapee, NH and several nieces and nephews. 

Kathy graduated from Newport High School as Valedictorian in 1954. Over her professional life she worked in banking and later as co-owner of Smith Machine of Guild, NH. She was a dedicated wife and always focused on the family business. She enjoyed RVing, boating, walking, swimming, skiing, and ice skating. Throughout it all, she especially enjoyed her dogs and the tranquility of her backyard swing. 

Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Newport, NH. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.newtonbartlett.com/listings
