Lempster, NH: Kenneth Wheeler, 78, passed away on December 23, 2022.
Kenneth was born in Woodsville, NH on November 9, 1944 to Wayne and Mary (Clough) Wheeler. He grew up in New Hampshire, and graduated from Peterborough High School in 1963, then enlisted in the Army. He served for 3 years, a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was proud of his service and being a Veteran.
He had many occupations throughout his life, including driving an oil truck, logging with horses, doing construction at United Construction. He also worked as a snow groomer at Mount Sunapee, maintenance at Proctor Academy, and was a dairy farmer for MacGlaflin in Claremont.
Kenneth absolutely loved the outdoors. He loved feeding and watching birds, ice fishing, hunting and fishing, and running his bear dogs. As much as he loved being outside, his family was everything. He especially loved his grandkids.
Kenneth is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Curtis and Donald, and his grandson, Andrew.
Surviving family includes his son Aaron Wheeler and his wife Jodi of Newport; son, Kenny Wheeler and his wife Brenda of Claremont; son, Craig Wheeler of Newport; his daughter Sherri Wheeler of Warner; his son Gregory Wheeler and his wife Belisa of Lempster; and Chris Melcher, who he thought of as a son; also, thirteen grandchildren: Adam, Timothy, Jimmy, Ashley, Trisha, Riley, Kelsey, Rhiannan, Korin, Kirsten, Annabell, Wesley, and Julieana, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
