Linda Flanders Obituary

Linda (Gosselin) Flanders passed away surrounded by family at her home in Unity, NH on January 21, at the age of 72 after a long illness. She was born on June 6,1948 in Claremont, NH and was the daughter of the late Irene (Roy) and Florien Gosselin.

Linda’s vast career expanded from Cosmetologist, Real Estate Agent to accomplished Aromatherapy practitioner creating essential oil blends that are sold to private label companies. Real Estate achievements include membership of the Sunapee Region Board of Directors (President 2009).

Linda shared a wonderful life with her loving husband, loyal companion, and best friend, Bardy. Together they hand crafted their home on their multi acre property in Unity where Linda named their homestead “The Top of The Mountain”, the place she had always dreamed of. It is here they shared many memories of family reunions, friends, adventures, laughter, and love.

Linda loved spontaneity, adventure, and most of all her family. Sharing, caring, and nurturing her grandchildren, nieces & nephews with nature and traditions that brought her much happiness. Four-wheeler rides touring their land. Canning from their vegetable gardens, making soap, cultivating fruit trees and berries for pies and jam along with beautiful flower gardens were some of her passions. Raising and breeding cattle, chickens, lambs and breeders of German Shorthair pups rounded out her and Bardy’s country life living on the mountain.

She is survived by her husband Bardy Flanders, sons Christopher Gentes and partner Keri, Jeffrey Gentes and wife Amanda, stepson Scott Flanders and wife Chrissy, three siblings, Richard Gosselin, Donald Gosselin and Diane Gosselin, Beloved Memere to Ryan & Madison Gentes, Brandon, Megan, Ben & Austin Gentes, Beloved Aunt to Karissa Krause, Mariah Krause, Thomas Gosselin, & Shawn Gosselin.

She was predeceased by her parents and grandson Alexander Craig Gentes.

Linda will be forever remembered by her loving family, friends, DaDa girls and all that knew her.
