Goshen, NH - Martha Marie Murgatroy, 79, passed away on May 4, 2020 in Claremont, NH from natural causes.

Martha was born on September 8, 1940 in Newport, NH to the late James D. Putney and Martha C. (Thomas) Putney. She attended Towle High School before working as a machinist at Sturm Ruger.

She loved to camp, hunt, and fish. She also enjoyed crocheting and would donate her creations.

Martha is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Raymond C. Murgatroy, Jr., brothers, James L. Putney, James D. Putney, Jr., and Robert R. Putney, sisters, Violet Andrew and Betty Anne Belan, and brother-in-law, Ronald Murgatroy. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Gamble and her husband Dana of TX, sister, Linda Putney of Goshen, NH, sister-in-law, Carolyn Rollins of Newport, NH, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was buried next to her husband in Mill Village Cemetery in Goshen, NH.
