Norma Dombroski Obituary
Unity, NH: Norma Jean Dombroski, 104, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on August 29, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1918 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Lillian and Hecter Commette. She graduated from Roger Ludlow High School in Fairfield, CT.
Norma married Clarence "Chance" Dombroski in 1937 and they moved to Unity in 1956. Clarence died in 1969. Norma held the Unity Post Cane being the oldest resident since 2016. She started oil painting at age 70 and was a gifted and talented artist. She was also an excellent seamstress. Norma loved to travel, especially trips to Ireland, Florida, Canada, and Washington, DC.
Norma was predeceased by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, 1 daughter, Lois Howley, and 1 grandchild.
She is survived by 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at 2 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Newport. A reception will follow.
