Pamela Ferris Di Giorgi

Pamela Ferris Di Giorgi, age 62, passed away at Serenity House in Santa Barbara, CA on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

Pamela was born at Yale/New Haven, CT, raised in N. Guilford, CT. She was a very driven woman, who was able to graduate from Branford Hall School of Business as Magnum Cum Laude, just before her high school graduation from Guilford High School in 1980. She worked in administration, which led her to move to New Hampshire to financially help her parents, two younger sisters, and her firstborn: Nicole Chute Riggott.

In 1989, she met her first husband, Leander L. Chute. They married in 1990 and had two children: Eric Chute and Danielle Chute Barney. They raised their family of five in Sunapee, NH.

Early in her married life, Pamela's faith in the Lord Jesus began to grow. She shared Jesus with anyone who crossed her path. She spent many years serving at Sunshine Baptist Church in Newport, NH, Word of Life camps in Schroon Lake, NY, Dayspring Counseling Center in Lebanon, NH and led Celebrate Recovery. Additionally, Leander and Pam's home was open to many in need of help.

Hardships marked Pamela's life as her marriage ended. In 2020 she learned that she had stage 4 colon cancer. She and her second husband, Steven Di Giorgi, moved to Santa Barbara, CA, where she passed away.

Pamela was predeceased by her parents David and Priscilla Ferris, and her eldest brother, David Ferris. She is survived by her brothers: Bernie, Ronald, and Brian (Christine) Ferris, and her sisters: Jane (David) White in VT, Patricia (Patrick) Greenwood, and Diane (Lance) Callum in NH. Her children: Nicole Chute (Dustin) Riggott, Eric (Jessica Blessard) Chute, and Danielle Chute (Jon) Barney and grandchildren: Adriana, Jordan, Graciana, Dakota, Mason, Bear and Bow.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1 PM at Berean Baptist Church, 928 John Stark Hwy, Newport, NH, 03773.

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, March 10, at 1 PM at Old North Cemetery, Guilford, CT, 06437.
