Pauline (Polly) (Parks) Fortune

Newport, NH: Pauline (Polly) R. Fortune died peacefully and went to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 1st, 2022.  She was born February 3, 1936 in Claremont, NH to Florence Laplante and Glenn Parks.
Hobbies and interests included singing, painting, birds, reading, nursing home visitation and she was very active in the church. She was the beloved Matriarch of the Faith River Church in Newport, NH and she was a long standing Charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Claremont, NH.
She was predeceased by her brother Howard Parks, husband John (Bud) D. Fortune, husband Ernest E. Garceau, and son Thomas J Fortune. 
Surviving family members include her son Glenn J Fortune and wife Sandra,daughter-in-law Kathy Enderson, son Dennis Bundy and wife Heidi, two honorary granddaughters, Bambi DeFilippis and Heidi North and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing is Friday, October 7, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home at 42 Main St, Newport, NH.
The funeral service For Polly and her son Thomas will be held at Faith River Church, 233 N. Main St at 4 pm on Monday, October 10, 2022.
Immediately following the funeral is the Fellowship and Celebration of Life downstairs in the church fellowship Hall.
