Goshen, NH: Randy Mark Hudson, 56, passed away peacefully at his house in Goshen, NH with his loving and devoted wife by his side on June 11, 2024. He was born in Claremont, NH on April 24, 1968.
Randy graduated in 1986 from Noble High School in N. Berwick, ME. He was an accomplished athlete. A true friend and leader, being a captain of both football and wrestling teams. He was also a 2-time Maine State wrestling champion and won over 100 matches.
After graduating, he became a well-known roofer and contractor for over 30 years. He worked for several companies before going on out on his, first as Eagle Roofing, where he and his brother worked together, then Hudson and Son Home Improvements where he and a couple nephews and eventually his son working with him until his passing. Randy enjoyed fishing, listening to music, dancing, and had a great sense of humor.
Randy was predeceased by his mother, Phyllis (Cayea) Hudson, sister Cheryl Partlow, nephew Roland ‘Junior’ Partlow III, nephew Shawn Partlow, brother Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Hudson, nephew Mark Hudson and great nephew Thomas Dowlin.
Surviving family members include his wife Gleora Hudson, son Cody Hudson, grandson Luka Hudson, stepdaughter Jennifer Robie, grandchildren Christopher Wilson, Carter and Kylie Wolfe, sister Sharon Beall, brother-in-law Roland Partlow, Sr., and several other nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH. A celebration of life gathering with some simple foods, salads, desserts, and refreshments will follow at the Newport Senior Center, 76 South Main Street, Newport. The family requests that there be absolutely no alcohol at the celebration of life.
