Raymond Barboza Obituary

Newport, NH - Raymond M. Barboza, 77, passed away at New London Hospital on February 7, 2020 due to failing health.

He was born on September 21, 1942 in New Bedford, MA to the late Anthony and Clara (Singleton) Barboza. A hard worker, Ray spent a majority of his life working for Good Year Tire and Rubber Company.

He was a simple man that enjoyed life's greatest pleasures — old cars, shooting pool and going fishing.

Surviving family includes his sons, Michael Barboza of Fairhaven, MA and David Barboza of Charlestown, NH; his grandsons, Matthew Barboza of Fairhaven, MA and Jacob Barboza of Charlestown, NH; his brother, Leo Barboza of Rhode Island; sisters, Dolores of Florida and Shirley of Maine; and many extended family members.

Per Ray's request, there will be no services.
