Richard Wright, Jr. Obituary

On Monday, January 16th, Richard W. Wright, Jr. passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was 69 years old. Born April 24, 1954 to Richard  Wright Sr. and Virgina Wright. He was a loving son and family member. He went to school in Newport, enlisted in the Navy and served until he was medically discharged. He loved serving for his country and talked about the ships often. After the Navy, he held various jobs until he could no longer work.

He loved talking about God and always told everyone God loves you. He was a very intelligent, kind hearted, and funny man, always telling jokes.

Preceded in death by his parents Richard and Virgina Wright, Sister Kathleen Ovitt, sister Barbara Vashaw, nephew Phillip Borcuk, many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Borcuk and her husband Manfred Borcuk of Cornish NH, brother Michael Wright of Springfield VT, brother Frederick Wright and his wife Roxanne Wright of Springfield VT, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a wake from 11 am to 12:30 pm January 25th at Newton Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main St. Newport, NH 03773. A service will follow at 2:00 pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery located at 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303.
